PRINCIPAL ENGINEER: JOSEPH B. STRAUSS (1937)

San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, to me, will always be one the great bridges of the world.
Not only for its somewhat simplistic majesty, but for its location...
Construction was begun in 1933 and finished in 1937.
